Luapula Province has abundant opportunities for tourism development, agriculture and mining. The province has good arable land and rainfall pattern as well as abundant water resources. It is endowed with some of the unmatched natural wonders in Zambia
The province has eight (8) waterfalls, namely: Lumangwe, Kabwelume, and chilongo, Finkula, Kundabwika, Ntumbachuchi, Mumbuluma and Mumbotuta. abundant wildlife and birds’ species that are only found in Luapula the world over such as the Shoebill and the Black Lechwe, the province also has sandy beaches on the two (2) Lakes; Bangweulu and Mweru Wantipa, hot springs, and traditional sites and Eight (8) Traditional ceremonies: Umusubilwa Mpemba, Mutomboko, Builile, Kwanga, Chabuka, Mabila, Mutuna Panga ,Chishinga Malaila

Mumbuluma Falls
Visit the stunning Mumbuluma Falls. It's located 33 km from Mansa. The falls offer two cascading sets of falls on the Mumbuluma River. The Lower part has a large plunge pool perfect for swimming. Nearby is a temple of worship and protection for Makumba and Ngosa. The temple's tradition of tending the sacred fire day and night is fascinating. Local legend tells of the brother and sister duo who fell from the sky, adding to the enchantment of this destination.
